Legal Question in Family Law in Indiana

I signed a paternity affidavit while I was at the hospital. The lady who presented it gave it to the father and I at the same time, she didn't explain it to either of us. She just said you have two options, pick one and call me ill be at the nurses station. Here I am drugged out of my mind after having surgery, I can't even tell you what the paper said. The father just said, here sign this, so I did. Later reading the information about the paternity test. It said that we had to establish paternity within 60 days or the paternity affidavit was void and the father's name wouldn't be listed on the birth certificate. Here it's been 90 days, we never did a paternity test. I went to pick up the birth certificate and the father's name is listed on it. How do I go about voiding the paternity affidavit and remove the father's name from the birth certificate?

You name the actual father in a paternity suit, and the tests can exclude the father named on the certificate. Of course, if all you are doing is trying to get the real father, who is also the named father, out of the picture, you can't do that.
