Legal Question in Family Law in Indiana

New vistation ruling

My original divorce decree states we follow the Montgomery Cty rule 17, unless otherwise listed in decree. My question is: not everything is covered in the rule 17 or in my original divorce decree. Does the new Indiana Guidelines apply to what is not mentioned or do I have to continue to argue with my ex to see my kids, or get attorneys involved. Just one example: I drove 6 hours (round trip) to P/T conf. Wanted to take kids to dinner before, ex refused and said he would call police if I showed up. Gave no reason, not the first time he has refused me to see them when I am willing to drive there. They live 3 hours away, but agreements were/are held in Montgomery county. Any help appreciated.

Re: New vistation ruling

A full review of your decree and agreemnt would have to be made to really answer your questions. However, given the situation you've described, it would seem reasonable that you seek legal representation.
