All lawyers, patent lawyers included, are bound to keep everything confidential and in trust concerning a client. Of course, in registering a patent they need to include the name of the patent owner, etc. But beyond what is required to file a patent application, everything else is held in confidence. Consult with an attorney in your area for specifics.

You should NOT have a patent attorney sign a confidentiality agreement. The Patent Office and State take care of that for you. Patent attorneys risk their career and their future business prospects if they breach a client's confidences. They could get disbarred for that.
