Legal Question in Juvenile Dependency in Indiana

Child Support

I'm a father with cust. ex is ordered to pay the state min of 25.00 per wk. She hasn't paid for the last three years she was waiting to get ss. Now that she receives ss she's trying to say that she can't live on ss and have to pay child support and wants the court to not make her have to pay child support anymore. I always thought that child support is something you can't get out of. Am I correct about this

Re: Child Support

Yes and no. Inability to pay is a consideration by the Court. But a contempt action should be filed.
