Legal Question in Medical Malpractice in Indiana

In the state of Indiana, can a medical review board decision be appealed by the claimant?

It was a unanimous decision, one in our favor (there was malpractice) the other not (the license to practice cannot be revoked).

Yes. None of the parties to a medical review panel are bound by the panel's opinion. If the case does not settle after the panel decison, the claimant needs to file the claim in a court room and proceed to trial. Please let me know if you ahve any further questions. Larry
