Rental problem

My daughter rented a studio house in Oct 08. House has lr, ba, kitchenette and upstairs bedroom?(no closet). Heat doesn't work, windows broke and she repaired, oven doesn't work, stove caught fire, freezer doesn't work all the time. Can she legally break Indiana lease?
