Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Indiana

If a son purcahses the tenancy of his father from his father's landlord, can father after having been purchasing his tenancy by his son, claim that he is still a tenant...only ownership changed not his tenancy????

i assume the question is as follows: father rents or owns a home and has possession of it. father's son buys the home. does the father have the right to live there? if the father has a lease, he has whatever lease rights are contained in the lease. if the father does not have a lease or other written agreement giving him possession, the owner (son) has the right to evict. hope this helps. you are welcome to contact one of our real estate lawyers, ken wilk or adam sedia, by phone to make a more detailed question. good luck.
