Legal Question in Sexual Harassment in Indiana
responsibility/liability
I am a board member of our local Youth League (little league). One of the other board members has been accused by some parents of speaking ''inappropriate'' to the girls who play for the league. (sexually). I am frustrated that the other board members continue to allow him to be a board member. If an accusation goes ''legal'' are ''we'' as a board responsible and am I personally responsible?

How can you be responsible if all you know is "inappropriate"? If you're that ignorant of the facts you shouldn't do anything until you have a better understanding of what actually happened.

I am afraid that you would be. You have notice of a problem and a duty to the children.
