Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Indiana

regarding executor position of will

What is the process just after a person passes? If the person has a very modest amount of assets? What happens if I suspect that the woman who is the executrex is less than honest? How would I go about gathering info to prove such a thing and what legal recourse would I have?

Re: regarding executor position of will

The process depends on whether there is a Will or not, the size of estate, and if there is a probate estate or not.

No probate assets, no probate estate.

If there are probate assets, then generally one opens an estate and those procedures are in Indiana's Probate Code.

If the personal administrator does not do their job, they can be removed.

You need to get an attorney.
