Do you continue paying child support when the divorce papers have been filed but you have not gone to court yet?

If there is a court order of some kind in place that compels you to pay support then the answer is yes.If there is no court order of any kind in place the answer is no. On the other hand withholding support will not do much for your credibility when the matter finally does get to court.
