Legal Question in Family Law in Iowa

My EX mother-in-law has asked for my children's social security numbers. I asked her why she wanted them, and she responded that it was private. While I can think of a few reasons why she might need them, I can't think of any reason that those things we need to be kept secret from me. Do I have to provide her with this information when she refuses to give a reason?
