Legal Question in Family Law in Kansas

I am almost 5 months pregnant and living with my boyfriend. As soon as my daughter is born I want to move out of state from Kansas to Georgia. I have not told him this. Will he be able to stop me legally? What would he have to do to stop me? If I made it to Georgia before he could take action how would I have to go about filing for sole custody once I was moved?

The question as to how to fiel for chidl support in Georgia, shoudl be asked of an atotrney licensed to practice law there. As for Kansas, you may have to pay all or half the cost for the child to visit its father in Kansas. It may be better for you to have your child in Georgia. You should consult with a Georgia attorney before deciding how to proceed.

Good luck
