Legal Question in Family Law in Kansas

I am 16 years old. Is there any possible way I can move out of my parents house legally? Or do I have to be 18?

If yoiu are unable to resolve your differences with your parents, you may have several options. You might convince your parents to allow you to live with your grandparnets or another relative. You might convince them to let you live with a neighboor, or friend's house. If none of those options are available, then the problem isn't your parents. If you really feel you cannot handle remaining under your paren t's roof, you might get emancipated. You will need to show that you have ajob, a place of your own to live (house or apartment with at least 12 month lease) and ability to afford all your medical and other financial needs.

If you cannot find someone else to live with, annd ncannot support yourself, and still beleive you cannot survive living with your parents, call the Police. They can get you into the foster care system, and address the issues that made your life at home unbearable.

Good luck
