Legal Question in Juvenile Dependency in Kansas

can i legally change my daughters last name to my married name, she has my maiden last name. Her father is not on her birth certificate, what do i have to do?

If you were married at the time of her birth, it if relatively easy. Otherwise, you will need to establish paternity, and deal with that mans parental rights. Then you can request a change if name. If you weren't married when she was born

Good luck, you might as well have an attorney deal with it now. You'll have to have one to get it done, and it will probably be cheaper to have them do it all.
