Legal Question in Employment Law in Kansas

non payment of wages

i was emplayed as a sales rep for a entertainment company on a sliding base/commision scale, base was structured as follows: $300 a week for 2 weeks, $200 a week for 2 weeks,$100 a week for 2 weeks than the draw would end and i would work for straight commission, my employment started approx. 7/1/04 but the draw base did not start until approx.8/23/04,since that time i have not recieved any funds as stated in the employment aggrement or recieved any allowed travel expenses as aggreed to move from Leavenworth Ks. to Berlin Wi. where i represent the company who has since terminated our employment aggreement, my last request for payment of owed funds on 10/4/04 have not resulted in any action from the company. What is my recourse in this matter. Thank You--

You probably need to hire an attorney to handle this matter for you now. Without knowing more of the details, (or even seing the employment agreement), it is impossible to tell you whther filing suit would be needed. If the company is in Kansas, I may be able to assist you. Or, you could meet with a local attorney whre you now live.
