Polygraph

Does an employer have the right to request that you take polygraph with out proof or complaint?

The answer to this question depends upon whether your employer is a private company or a governmental body. Federal law does limit the right of private employers to use polygraphs. You can find the law on the Internet (Employee Polygraph Protection Act). There are other limits on the right of governments to use polygraphs in employee investigations, essentially limiting the right to use info in a subsequent criminal prosecution.
