Legal Question in Family Law in Kentucky

My Grandchildren

My grandchildren was adopted by their great aunt and uncle because both parents signed them over and the court allowed this to happen. Both parents are now serving life sentences because of murdering the mothers child and husband was a stepdad. How can I as the maternal grandmother reverse the adoption?

Re: My Grandchildren

If the adoption has been finalized, it is very difficult to overturn it at this time. You should have intervened in the adoption if you did not believe it to be in the children's best interest. If you do desire to do something, you should act quickly because time is certainly working against you.

Re: My Grandchildren

You cannot reverse an adoption. You could only hope that the adoptive parents would voluntarily terminate their rights or the state would step in and do so.
