Legal Question in Family Law in Kentucky

Rights for unmarried with children for 15 years together

I have been with mt current spouse for 15 years, and we have 3 children together. Since the birth of my twin sons 9 years ago, at the request of my spouse, I have not worked outside of the home. He threatens me about taking the kids and leaving me with nothing at all! What kind of rights do I have? Everything is in his name and I even let our kids last names be changed to his. Please help me if you can.

Re: Rights for unmarried with children for 15 years together

i am slightly confused. in your e-mail you state he is your spouse, yet in the title it states rigths for unmarried person. if you are a spouse you have significant more rights than a non-spouse, however, i recommend speaking with an attorney due to the complicated issues in both cases. if you would like, you may e-mail me at [email protected], but at the very least i would consult with an attorney immediately.
