Legal Question in Immigration Law in Kentucky

My fiance and I have been dating for 3 yrs. He is in the country illegally. He and I would like to get married but we don't know what our options are because of his status. This plagues our family everyday and I don't want to lose him because of a "status." He is a wonderful, caring, respectful, honest guy trying to make a better life for himself. I would die inside thinking we can't be happy because of "paperwork." We would like to know as of this point what our options are?

You need to provide more details about your fiance's situation for me or any other attorney to be able to advise you. For example, how and when did he enter the country (on what visa if any), did he ever apply for anything with the INS or later USCIS, did anyone ever petition for him, etc.

If youd like to schedule a telephone or email legal consultation, need legal advice or help, please let me know and Id be glad to help you. I am an immigration attorney and offer confidential consultations and legal help in matters of the U.S.A. federal immigration law to clients from all 50 States and internationally. If your finance came to the US with a visa, you might petition him even he is out of status. If not, he needs 245 (i) for green card application in the US.

We suggest you to consult with an immigration attorney.
