Legal Question in Personal Injury in Kentucky

I was involved in an accident a couple days ago i do not have insurance so i worked out a deal with the lady and she took a check from me it is post dated she agreed to 300.00 for the damages. Her husband called me yesterday and said that he had gotten estimates on the damages he said 300.00 isnt enough. I told him that she agreed to the arrangment and that i could not afford to pay him anymore. he said well if she agreed to the amount that he was fine with that. He called me again and now he is telling me that he is turning it in to his insurance, what i want to know is will his insurance company come after me?

Yes, it is possible his insurance company will come after you, if you have any sort of assets to recover or wages to garnish. You're lucky you didn't end up with a charge for not carrying insurance, considering you are legally obligated to do so. The fine and court costs for that exceeds $300 in itself. If you can't afford car insurance, then I would suggest from now on you park the car and start taking the bus.
