Legal Question in Disability Law in Louisiana

I loss my children in a custody battle because he said I was inadequate do to my loss of vision to care for my children. Is this grounds for a discrimination suit

Discrimination for what? By whom? I do not get it. Are you saying that because your children's husband and/or the Judge said your lack of vision meant you could not give your children adequate attention it violates the ADA? What if the ADA meant you get your kids and the dad is very competent with perfect vision? Is he being discriminated then?
