If i die and have no children who inherits my estate?

Assuming you don't have a will when you die, first your parents, then your siblings, etc. until ultimately the State of Louisiana. So you should have a good reason for not making out a will. Just write it out by hand and date it and sign below everything, including the date. Or have an attorney help you and also make sure it is found when you die.

To whomever you leave it to in a will, because it would be foolish not to have one if you have no children. If no will and no children, then your wife will get your 1/2 of the community property, and your parents then brothers and/or sisters will get your separate property. Of course if you are not married there is no community property.
