Legal Question in Family Law in Louisiana

I had a paternity test done for my son, and we found out he is the biological father. The mother lives in Florida and we live in Louisiana. My son is not interested in the baby nor the mother. I built a relationship with the mother and I thought everything was alright until she found a boyfriend and now she does not answer my calls or my text messages. My son is not paying child support. I think he sent her money two times since the baby was born and he is now 6 months old. We know the baby is for my son because we had the test done, but they never changed the name on the birth certificate to my son's name. As a grandparent, do I have any rights? I want to see that beautiful child.

Unfortunately, you don't have much of any rights as far as that goes. If the mother doesn't want you to see the child and the father is not involved, you are pretty much out of luck.
