Execute a living will and a standard will. There are other issues you need to know about but I very much doubt that a 100 page, national book will tell you what you need to know about Texas law. So see an attorney if you want it done right and someone to sue if it isn't. Aren't your kids worth that?

Write a will and put it in there. The court will try to comply with your wishes but understand that the parent has first shot at the children.

While you are thinking about issues like this it is the tip of the iceberg. Don't lose this opportunity to find out the things you should really be concerned about and how to take care of them. Read, "Create Your Legacy & Save the American Middle Class". It addresses this issue and many more important issues for you and your family in plain English. It's about 100 pages long and worth hundreds if not thousands if looked at as legal advice. Most people can take care of all of these things themselves without an attorney. Go to www.YourLivingLegacy.info and download the book.
