28 Termination Notice from Employer

I received a 28 day termination notice that contract is ending the last day of June with my company. Am I obligated to stay or can I leave during this time?

You can leave but you won't be paid. Also, there may be some other benefits of the contract that you would lose. Talk with the company and see what their attitude is. You do not want it listed as if you quit on any references. Also, if you stay, do your job at least as well as you were doing it. Do not burn bridges.
