Legal Question in Employment Law in Louisiana

I have leased my truck and trailer to a small company. I have not gotten paid for 2 out of 3 loads I have hauled for him.

He says the bank has a hold on the money or the check is in the mail to him. 1 load I haven't received payment for is from November and the other is from Dec.

What are my legal resources?

You can file suit. Your situation may qualify as an Open Account under Louisiana's Open Account Statute. If so, the defendant will be reqiured to pay your attorney's fees.
