Legal Question in Employment Law in Louisiana

Which state's labor laws prevail if the corporate office is in Louisiana and there are branch offices in Texas? One of the Texas branch offices is considered to be the "base reporting office" of the employee. My ultimate quest involves the date upon which pay is to be received- Texas apparently has laws governing when pay is to be received, however, I do not find that Louisiana has any such laws. Your assistance is appreciated.

An employer must tender final wages within three days of the final day. The employment laws of the state where hired would prevail.
