Legal Question in Employment Law in Louisiana

Can wages be reduced after notice of voluntary termination?

My husband recently put in his two week notice at his job here in Louisiana. He has been on salary for at least 5 years. His boss then posted a sign saying basically anybody that does not give at least 15 day notice will be paid minimum wage on their final paycheck. That would be a HUGE paycut. Is this legal? What should we do from here, the boss has not actually told him that is what is going to happen but is more implying it.

Re: Can wages be reduced after notice of voluntary termination?

I would argure that any such policy is a wage forfeiture that is illegal pursuant to La. R.S. 23:621 et seq.
