Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Louisiana

I'm a section,8 tenant. I recently asked for permission to move. I was given a notice to vacate letter that was to be signed by me and the landlord who was not available. we have not physically seen this ll since our lease signing. per sec/8 we had an inspection for complaints about mice(we live in a row of townhouse). out of nowhere the ll shows up with threats about child services abs an hour later the police show up asking where my baby was! he's made threats that if we move it won't be with our housing assistance. we have witnesses who are willing to sign a note that the mice are not from us and are actually in the frame of the houses, and that he threatened and called child services with out an actual reason. also our lease is up but housing won't allow us to move with a signed ntv, by both parties.what can I do?

You need to contact the housing authority in your area and make a complaint against the landlord and explore what other options may be available. If you don't get a solution from the initial person ask to speak to the supervisor. This is better done by making an appointment and going in person.
