Legal Question in Product Liability in Louisiana

CNC Machines
Would I have a good case involving a severe injury due to working at a CNC machine that has no warning signs. I had to have my colon stitched and almost had a colonoscopy due to this injury. I also had to receive 2 liters of blood lost from the injury. The company's investigation proved there was no fault on my part. I ran the machine as I should have following all safety precautions that I was trained to do. I have been told that the only thing I could do was to try for a product liability suit because the injury occured on land. I have received workers comp.

I do not know what a CNC machine is or what type of job you do, so very hard to discuss your rights.
