Most of the states have signed a multi-state compact. Louisiana will notify Florida who can suspend your driver's License.

The least that they would do is issue a warrant and if you are ever stopped here again, they might arrest you.

Florida is in the multi-state compact. If you do not take care of it, Florida will end up suspending your license. Your only option is not to pay, though. You can fight the ticket without coming back to Louisiana. Talk to an attorney who handles traffic tickets in the parish where you were pulled over. He or she may likely be able to get the charges dismissed or at least reduced to a non-moving violation which doesn't get reported to your insurance company.
