Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Maine

Husband passed away his parents were listed as beneficiaries because he never changed it after we married 7 years ago. They kept it all.. it was a large sum shouldnt they have helped to pay his final bills? can I take them to court to get at least some of that to pay things?

Yes. As a surviving spouse, you have a right to part of his estate.
