Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Maryland
Judgement
Will I lose a judgment in a merit / civil case if I show up for trial with a retainer agreement and the intent to file bankruptcy? Will the court still put a judgement on my credit even if I file BR in the day after the trial?

Telling the court that you intend to file bankruptcy has no effect and will not stay the proceedings.
