Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Maryland

WBE Certified Firm (Women Business) being falsely accused of not managing the co

I am 100% owner of my company, a CPA/professional services firm. I have eight employees, all CPAs. I started the firm in 2001. I have financed, built and managed the company since its inception. I became WBE certified in 2004. The WBE certification process is a lengthy audit of my business records, management and operations to ensure that I in fact to run the business and it is not a shell corporation. Subsequent to this certification, I also became certified by Maryland and Federal Government as a Small Disadvantaged Business SDB. I take the certification and process extremely serious and have been very cognizant of operations, etc. since inception.

My husband is involved in a very nasty lawsuit with his ex-wife that lives in Georgia. My husband is an employee of the business, but a minor contributor. All of the employees are CPAs. My husband is not a CPA therefore can not perform certain engagements. His ex-wifes lawyer has accused me of allegedly owning the company and not running the company! I am furious at the false allegations. What rights do I have? I want to exercise my rights to the fullest extent under Maryland laws and pursue every legal remedy at my disposal.
