Retrieving Confiscated Funds

I was arrested on Sept. 9th of last year, taken from my person was 215.00 dollars. I went to court on the 8th of Nov.,at whiched time all charges were dismissed. I was than instructed that in order for me to recover the monies that were confiscated it had to be released by the arresting officer, since then i've tried on several occassions to contact the arresing officer to no avail.I've tryed several times to call the officer i've left messages for him and still nothing has been done so I need to know what i can do to retreive my money? Thank yYou for your help.

Don't depend on the phone. Go to the police office in person with a letter in writing to demand the return of your money. Get the name and title/position of everyone you speak to. If that does not work send a letter to the chief of police. Good luck.
