She lkeft the apt and called the police like 4 hrs later tellin them he tried to kill her. He was arrested 3 days later for assault with deadly weapon and 5 other charges. Later when she heard he was arrested she told everryone that she was lying and it didnt happen that way. We Have a witness Who saw the whole thing. My brother is arrested still and wont see a judge till late this month... Theres a BIG Chance the girl wontshow upsince she has Never showed up to any of there disputes...Should I get my brother a lawyer or can these charges be dropped?

Re: Assault Charges
Your brother ABSOLUTELY needs a lawyer. And I hope he's not making any statements - even if he is not guilty she should not speak. Check out my web site for more information. www.weatherspoonfirm.com
Re: Assault Charges
Definitely get a lawyer, first because he should be represented at a bond review. And second, a lawyer can facilitate the expedient dropping of the charges with the assigned State's Attorney.
