Legal Question in Criminal Law in Maryland

secondarry assault (pls respond asap)

I was accused for secondary domestic violence but the victim and I came up with an agreement of closing the case but we don't know how the process goes. Can we both actually present in front of jury to close the case before trail or would the assence of the victim in court date help anything?

If you were charged criminally (State vs. You) it is out of your hands. The victim must show at court as the State will demand it.

In the DV hearing, you may enter a consent agreement for a PO or she can dismiss. However, next time, they will consider her as crying wolf.

If you are confident of her safety, have her call me. She needs to know the ramifications.
