Legal Question in DUI Law in Maryland

iam deployed right now i live in westernport md i got a dui about around aug in oakland maryland went to my court date had to pay fine i could not come up with the money i have a warrant case now and of coures i have no problem with the money thing right now is their any steps i can take to help take care of this matter or do i need to wait till i return home to deal with the situation and if so what should i except am i looking at jail time or anything like that

Pay whatever is due and get a receipt. Move to recall the warrant and attach a copy of the receipt to the motion. Anyone may pay and get the receipt for you, but only you or an attorney on your behalf may file the motion.

If you asked me to handle this case, I would have you pay the amount owed, and I would contact the Assistant State's Attorney, and get them to agree to recall the warrant and, hopefully, close the case, and then I would file a motion with the judge to accomplish these things.
