Verbal harassment in school

My middle school student is being verbally harassed on a daily basis by the son of an FBI agent creating a hostile learning environment. The school seems reluctant to do anything about it. Do I have any legal recourse?

Re: Verbal harassment in school

You do not state whether you have officially notified the school District about this harassment. If not you should, in writing. The Courts have held that a school district can be held liable if they have been notified of such matters and were "deliberately indifferent" to the situation.
