Legal Question in Family Law in Maryland

I basically perjured myself a few times during a custody and child support hearing a year ago. My former spouse and attorney have proof that my testimony was knowingly false so now they are taking me back to court. What is the possibility that I will be charged with something? I have no criminal record so is there a possibility I could go to jail for this? What exactly am I facing hear and is there anyway out of it?

Your first step should be to stop making potentially incriminating statements on public websites (or to anyone other than your lawyer, quite frankly). Your second step should be to hire a lawyer to assist you with this matter -- both the potential criminal issues and the implications to your custody and support situation -- and with whom you can discuss these issues confidentially. Please feel free to email ([email protected]) if you would like to ask any follow up questions -- again, any such communications would be confidential.
