Legal Question in Family Law in Maryland

Help me please

I have filed for sole custody of my daughter and the mother has claimed I abused my daughter and will not let me see my daughter and claims I can only have supervised visits. What do I do to clear my name. The mother has been in a out patent drug program for abuse.

In your filing you should ask for immediate visitation during the court proceeding. The mother has no right to deny you visitation. Visitation is strongly encouraged by the court system unless there is a compelling reason to restrict it or deny it. She will have to prove it would be against your daughter's best interests to restrict your contacts with her.
