I would like to get legal custody of my niece who lives in Trinidad with her mother and I am a Naturalized U.S. citizen.

You should seek a consultation with an immigration lawyer about getting your niece into the country. If the parents both consent to giving you custody, you can file a petition in your local circuit court. You will need a family lawyer to help you with this.
