Legal Question in Family Law in Maryland

Ok, In maryland the law states that the age of consent is 16 unless in a utortitve, or parental position. My girlfriend was kicked out and she was 17, I am 29, we bot admitted to having consensual sex as the law was on our side to do so. There were allegation of inappropriate behavior between me and her wich were untrue, (We kept our private life, well, private) there is no proof or nothing, but I can NEVER have custody of my own children anymore? Why is that isnt legal, legal? and I did not have guardianship, or custody, or in no way a "care-giver" for her, we were in a mutual committed relationship! Upon proving myself in a pshcosexual evaluation and all that How can I prove I did nothing wrong because of maryland laws and get my kids back into my custody? Please Help

One answer: hire a lawyer. You cannot do this all on your own.

Best of luck.
