Paternity case

my boyfriend was arrested thursday january 31 due to a 11 year old paternity case the money for the child support comes out his check an has been for years what rights does he have an what can i do

Usually this happens when there is a significant deficiency in child support payments and he has been held in contempt for not appearing in court on the matter. Hopefully he has good records showing that all payments have been made. If he can prove he isn't in arrears, then the contempt would be dismissed. Otherwise he'll have to work out a payment arrangement with the court.
