Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Maryland

I bought a car as a gift for a former girlfriend, she says she has me on tape saying it is a gift. I can no longer afford it, and am behind in payments. If it gets repossessed, are there any legal remedies against me that she has?

If the situation is as simple as you say -- you bought a car for a former girlfriend with financing and simply cannot afford it now -- your ex-girlfriend likely has no legal remedies against you.

Best of luck.******The above is for informational purposes only and does not create an attorney-client privilege.*******
