Legal Question in Personal Injury in Maryland

Purchased a 2010 Ford F-150 truck. Signed papers and left at dealership for completion of additional add ons. Service department ran truck in a wall and damaged front end, tire and maybe orther areas. They are repairing and provided rental.

What additional compensation since I'm feeling it's no longer a new truck. I am not happy about these circumstances. Do I have to take this truck? or can I request another. We only had it three days before they damaged it.

First, your question is a bit unclear: did you ever have possession of the truck (you mention you had it for three days), or did you leave it at the dealership for them to do this work before you took possession of it? If you never took delivery of the vehicle, you may (repeat, *may*) have the right to reject the delivery of it now on the grounds that it is not what you bargained for (i.e., a new vehicle) and seek to cancel the sales contract or insist on a different truck. I understand that you do not believe you should bear the loss in value caused by the garage's mishap, but you also want to make sure you are acting within your rights at all times. You should definitely get straight what your options are and what you are going to do before you pick up the truck. Shoot me an email ([email protected]) if you'd like to discuss further.
