Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Maryland

I lived in Maryland. I was threaten on my own property by trespasser while they trespassing through my property. What can I do? One of them was caught by the police and served a notice not to trespass. However, I caught him again and called the police but the officer said it's still my word against his until I have proof again that he trespassing through. HELP!!!
