Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Massachusetts

chapter 7

If I filed chapter 7 bankruptcy in 2002 could you please tell me how long it stays on my credit report for? I thought the law back then said 7 years but need to know for sure. Thank you.

Your credit report(s) will report the bankruptcy filing for up to 10 years.
