Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Massachusetts

giving up a house

my parents own this house they tried to refinace it for a year now and nothing happened now they are trying to sell it to see if they could at least getback all the thousands of dollars that they put in is there any way that they can keep the house and just make really really low payments because right now they have too many things going on and they can't afford to pay the regular payments.

It at all depends on how far behind your parents are whether or not the mortgage company will entertain a workout. It the mortgage company does not want to work with your parents then they could file Bankruptcy and sell the house within the Bankruptcy. I would need more information to see what would be the best avenue for their current circumstances. Please drop me an email with the details regarding how past due they are.
