What are my rights in Massachusetts if my employer fails to offer me COBRA in a timely manner. My insurance has lapsed and I have yet been offered COBRA.

Re: COBRA extended coverage

The Consolidated Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act (COBRA) gives workers and their families who lose their health benefits the right to choose to continue group health benefits provided by their group health plan for limited periods of time under certain circumstances such as voluntary or involuntary job loss, reduction in the hours worked, transition between jobs, death, divorce, and other life events. Please feel free to contact my office direct for a free initial consult based upon the facts of your specific situation.;))

You have a serious claim against the employer, assuming it meets the COBRA employment requirements, I suggest you contact an attorney ASAP.
